How To Detox Your Body!

They’re around you all the time.  You can’t see them or feel them.  But, they can do serious harm to your health.  They’re called environmental toxins.

Some examples are heavy metals, such as mercury and lead.  Pesticides and fertilizers have contaminated the waterways and soil.  All because of of our “advanced” society.

Environmental toxins affect every system in your body.  Examples include the reproductive, cardiovascular, and immune systems.  Many common chronic diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia, have been linked to exposure to toxins.

What can you do to protect and rejuvenate your body?

Of the many different detox approaches I researched, a very simple method comes from Charlotte Skiles.  She’s a Clinical Nutritionist, with Eat In Peace Wellness Consulting, located in Austin, Texas.

The Bottom Line:  We live in the most exiting time in the history of this world.  However, the toxins released into the  environment threaten our very existence by presenting a variety of health issues.  So, it’s up to you to battle the daily exposures to these toxins by detoxing your body on a regular basis.  I’m going to try Ms Skiles’s method, are you?
